Soccer Game Preview: Ferndale vs. Nooksack Valley

The Ferndale Golden Eagles will face off against the Nooksack Valley Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ferndale's last seven games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Thursday, Ferndale and Burlington-Edison finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw. That draw made it three straight for Ferndale.

Meanwhile, Nooksack Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Squalicum. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Ferndale's draw makes their record 1-2-5 this season. As for Nooksack Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Ferndale took their win against Nooksack Valley when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0 score. Do the Golden Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pioneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
