Plainfield Central came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Plainfield East, but Emma Rodgers wouldn't allow it. The Plainfield East Bengals came out on top against the Plainfield Central Wildcats by a score of 60-49 on Saturday thanks in part to Rodgers, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Plainfield East is 2-1 when Rodgers posts 20 or more points, but 3-24 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Khloe Oglesby, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 15 points and seven boards. What's more, she also posted a 60% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024.

Plainfield East's victory bumped their record up to 5-25. As for Plainfield Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-25.

Plainfield East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-22 loss against Benet Academy on the 17th. Plainfield Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
