Baseball Recap: Pinson Valley Comes Up Short

Pinson Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Gardendale Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Tuesday.

Pinson Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamison Green, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was Green's first of the season.

Pinson Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Gardendale, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Rockets beat Pinson Valley by a score of 15-0 later that day.
