Volleyball Game Preview: Triton Central Tigers vs. Eastern Musketeers

After both having extra time off, the Triton Central Tigers and the Eastern Musketeers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Triton Central sitting on nine straight victories and Eastern on 14.

Triton Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Northeastern 3-0.

Meanwhile, Eastern made easy work of Southwestern on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Eastern's win came from a few key players Triton Central will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Allie Johanningsmeier, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Eastern was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive contests.

Triton Central's victory bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Eastern, their win bumped their record up to 30-5.
