Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain House Mustangs vs. Manteca Buffaloes

Mountain House is 0-5 against Manteca since May of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Mustangs are taking a road trip to face off against the Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Mountain House sitting on nine straight wins and Manteca on six.

Last Wednesday, Mountain House was able to grind out a solid victory over Sierra, taking the game 3-1.

Mountain House had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Manteca got the win against Elk Grove on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

Manteca got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 25-17, 25-19.

Manteca's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. As for Mountain House, their record now sits at 19-4.
