Volleyball Recap: Conway Comes Up Short

Conway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Jasper Eagles. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Conway was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Jasper work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-18.

Madison Thompson paced Conway's offense, picking up five kills. Thompson got some help from Arianna Hughes and her 11 assists.

Conway's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Jasper, the win got them back to even at 12-12-3.

Conway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Ava on the 13th. As for Jasper, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Houston on the 11th.
