Soccer Game Preview: Crockett vs. Cedar Creek

The Crockett Cougars will challenge the Cedar Creek Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Crockett comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Friday just wasn't the day for Crockett's offense. They came up short against Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin on Friday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 659th, while the Raptors are ranked 217th).

Meanwhile, Cedar Creek gave up the first goal last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged Richards School for Young Women Leaders out 2-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with Richards School for Young Women Leaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Crockett's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cedar Creek, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-11.
