Baseball Recap: Lee Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Living Water Christian last Tuesday, Lee Christian came back down to earth. Lee Christian came up short against the Crossroads Christian Colts on Friday, falling 15-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Lee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Crossroads Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Lee Christian Falcons take on Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Lee Christian's pitchers better be ready for this one: Cape Fear Christian Academy has averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. As for Crossroads Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Oxford Prep at 5:00 p.m. on April 1.
