Conwell-Egan Catholic was sadly handed a loss on Thursday, but Chase Forester did his best to prevent it. Forester turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 5.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Conwell-Egan Catholic is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise.
