Soccer Game Preview: Pendleton vs. York

The Pendleton Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the York Cougars at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Pendleton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against York Prep by a score of 4-2. Matthew Chapman had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, on SaturdayNorth Central kept up with York until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. York blew past North Central 5-1. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly four goals.

The victory made it two in a row for York and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for Pendleton, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
