Volleyball Recap: Thomas A. Edison Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Thomas A. Edison can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Vikings on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Owls in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Thomas A. Edison started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-14, 25-19, 25-21.

Thomas A. Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11-1. As for Northeast, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Thomas A. Edison nor Northeast have any future games scheduled.
