Baseball Recap: Harrison Triumphs

Harrison owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hamilton Big Blue by a score of 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 back in March.

Xander Loos tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over six innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025.

On the hitting side, Harrison's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Stigler, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Hamilton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Coming up, Harrison will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Mt. Healthy at 5:00 p.m. As for Hamilton, they will face off against Sycamore at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
