Basketball Recap: Donna Klein Jewish Academy Comes Up Short

Donna Klein Jewish Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 55-31 to the Boca Raton Christian Blazers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blazers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boca Raton Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Delaney Cronin, who posted 27 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Cronin has scored at least a third of Boca Raton Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaila Maser, who put up 19 points.

Donna Klein Jewish Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Boca Raton Christian, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Donna Klein Jewish Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-30 defeat against Katz Yeshiva on the 14th. As for Boca Raton Christian, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Berean Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
