Basketball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

Geneva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 53-41 to the York Dukes. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dukes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for York, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.

Geneva has already played their next contest (against Wheaton-Warrenville South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. York will venture away from home to square off against Lake Forest Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
