Recap: Birchwood Christian Warriors vs. Non Varsity Opponent

The Birchwood Christian Warriors were the 57-38 winner over Non Varsity Opponent when they last played one another back in January of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. Birchwood Christian was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 46-45 to Non Varsity Opponent.

Despite the loss, Birchwood Christian still got an impressive performance from Noah Guderian, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Karsten Wetzel, who scored six points along with four steals and two blocks.

Birchwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Non Varsity Opponent, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 104-203-1.

Birchwood Christian will take on Kenai Central at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Non Varsity Opponent won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Thorp at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
