Volleyball Recap: Lakes Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Lakes came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Rockford Auburn Knights by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sammi Madsen was the offensive standout of the match as she had six aces and five assists. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven contests. Maddie Lage also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Lakes was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive games.

Lakes' victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Rockford Auburn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
