Football Recap: Brackenridge's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sam Houston, Brackenridge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 19-14 victory over the Edison Golden Bears. Surprisingly, this marked the Eagles' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The win snapped Brackenridge's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record. As for Edison, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, Brackenridge and Edison will both be playing Lanier the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Voks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Golden Bears will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
