Baseball Recap: Chaminade Takes a Loss

Chaminade was the 4-1 winner over Pacific when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Chaminade lost 18-8 to Pacific on Tuesday. The Red Devils' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row dating back to last season.

Eli Winker and Carson Cosby did some serious damage despite the final result: Winker scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Cosby scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ben Hiatt, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Chaminade's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pacific, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chaminade will square off against Lafayette at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pacific, they will take on Orchard Farm at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Pacific is facing Orchard Farm at the right time seeing as Orchard Farm is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
