Basketball Recap: Warner's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Warner was the 36-28 winner over High Tech NC when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 54-42 to the Raptor on Tuesday. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Loss or not, Warner got some senior leadership from Anthony Porras and Bradly Guachino. Porras posted 15 points in addition to five assists and five boards, while Guachino had 14 points. Porras is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Johnny Garcia, who earned four points and eight rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Warner fell to 3-1. As for High Tech NC, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coincidentally, Warner and High Tech NC will both be playing Guajome Park Academy the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Frogs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Raptor will host them at 8:00 p.m. on December 4.
