Baseball Game Preview: Carolina Forest Panthers vs. Myrtle Beach Seahawks

For the second straight game, Carolina Forest will face off against Myrtle Beach. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Seahawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Carolina Forest has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Wednesday, Carolina Forest didn't have quite enough to beat Myrtle Beach and fell 9-8.

Connor Pellerin was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Carolina Forest saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Riser, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Myrtle Beach's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-11. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Carolina Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
