Baseball Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short

Kimball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 12-5 to the St. Mary's Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 last Monday.

James Isler made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Gino Mallamo was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Kimball's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for St. Mary's, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

While Kimball had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
