Recap: Port Allegany Gators vs. Keystone Panthers
The Port Allegany Gators had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Keystone 54-14 at home. Considering Port Allegany has won nine matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Port Allegany was led to victory by Peyton Stiles and Aiden Bliss. Stiles gained 142 total yards and four touchdowns, while Bliss rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Nick Wilfong was another key contributor, throwing for 147 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Although Keystone took the loss, they still got scores from Dom Corcetti and Eli Nellis.
Port Allegany's victory was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 9-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.64 points. As for Keystone, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
Port Allegany will face off against Brockway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Brockway focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday. Keystone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
