Preview: Gordonsville vs. Smith County
On Friday, Gordonsville is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Smith County at 7:00 PM.
Last Friday, Gordonsville couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 8-48 loss at the hands of Watertown. Gordonsville were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
Meanwhile, Smith County took care of business in their home opener. They took their game against Macon County last week 28-14.
Smith County's lifted them to 1-0 while Gordonsville's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Smith County can add another positive mark to their record or if Gordonsville can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Smith County's step.
