Volleyball Recap: Arvada West Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Arvada West fell just short of Windward by a score of 2-1.

Kevin Reardon paced Arvada West's offense, picking up seven kills. Reardon got some help from Kei Martin and his 22 assists. Carter Pearson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Arvada West's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Windward, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Arvada West and Windward will both be playing Maple Mountain the next time they take the court. Arvada West will head out to face Maple Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Windward will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
