League recap: Rodabaugh throws longest pass in league this season for Midwest

Landon Rodabaugh and Cam Ray provided fans with a highlight when they connected against HEM. The connection was good for 62 yards, the longest such play in 6-Man East (6 Man) this season.

Saratoga took down Normative Services 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kyle Bartlett ran for 175 yards in the win.

Midwest's dynamic duo of Rodabaugh and Ray proved tough for the Miners to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Rodabaugh threw for 125 yards and 3 touchdowns and Ray had 62 yards receiving. Andrew Engleman helped Midwest's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 60 yards.

Engleman was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Oilers defeated HEM. The 5-foot-10 senior.

He went 4-5 with 0 interception.

Bartlett was a passing and rushing force as the Panthers beat the Wolves.

Kaycee's Taylor Rouse and Hayden Fauber have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Rouse has thrown for 426 yards this season, while Fauber, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 13 catches for 170 yards. Guernsey-Sunrise's Brady Esquibel leads the league in rushing yards with 527.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Hulett and Midwest. The Devils enters the contest ranked third in the state, while Ken Swieter's team ranks fourth.

Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when the Buckaroos' Fauber goes up against Saratoga's Alex Ziegler.

Next week's game between Kaycee and Scott Bokelman's team will feature an aerial matchup as Rouse tests his arm against Ziegler's defensive ability.
