Baseball Recap: Anclote Comes Up Short

Anclote was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 9-6 to the Seminole Warhawks. The Sharks were not able to make up for their loss to the Warhawks from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Anclote saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Brasby, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Nathan Langley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Anclote's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Seminole, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Anclote will face off against Gulf at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Seminole, they will take on Pinellas Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
