The Alexandria Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the David Thibodaux Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Alexandria was able to grind out a solid victory over Southside, taking the game 6-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

The team relied heavily on Amiyah Wilson, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Addison Couvillon, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, David Thibodaux made easy work of Westminster Christian Academy on Tuesday and carried off a 16-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Justice Chambers and Amalie Harvison were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Chambers struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Harvison tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
