Volleyball Recap: Strafford Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Strafford won the last time they faced Buffalo and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bison.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 20-25, 25-9.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Strafford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooklynne Lumley, who had four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Lumley a new career-high.

Lumley wasn't the only good servers: Strafford was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive contests.

Strafford pushed their record up to 18-2-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Buffalo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9-4.

Strafford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Reeds Spring on the 2nd. As for Buffalo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Hollister on the 2nd.
