Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Country Day Furies vs. Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans
Forsyth Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.
The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-8.
Maggie Scott paced Forsyth Country Day's offense, picking up four kills. Scott got some help from Mallory Matthews and her five assists.
Among those leading the charge was Adele Veach, who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024.
Forsyth Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
