Volleyball Game Preview: Owyhee Braves vs. Eureka Vandals

Owyhee is 0-10 against Eureka since October of 2021 but things could change on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Owyhee earned a 3-1 win over Wells. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Leopards recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Owyhee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eureka, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on McDermitt with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday.

Eureka never let McDermitt on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-16.

Eureka's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Owyhee, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
