BASIS - Mesa can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 64-26 win over New Way Learning Academy on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory BASIS - Mesa has posted since December 8, 2023.
BASIS - Mesa's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joseph Frivaldo, who scored 27 points along with three steals. Frivaldo is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Cayden Plese was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
BASIS - Mesa's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for New Way Learning Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

As for New Way Learning Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Caurus Academy at 4:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Caurus Academy is ranked 132nd, while New Way Learning Academy is ranked 141st).
