Basketball Recap: Apple Valley Comes Up Short

Apple Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 47-11 loss at the hands of the Lakeville South Cougars. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Apple Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Lakeville South, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Apple Valley has already played their next game (against Farmington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lakeville South Cougars face off against the Lakeville North Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
