Recap: Bryn Mawr Mawrtians vs. Broadneck Bruins
The Bryn Mawr Mawrtians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight defeat. They took a hard 46-30 fall against Broadneck. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bryn Mawr has scored all season.
London Best was her usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals for Broadneck. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Miller, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Bryn Mawr has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Broadneck, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Bryn Mawr will face off against the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. John Carroll has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Broadneck, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Northeast is no doubt hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses.
