The Paint Valley Bearcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 61-14 victory over Western on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Paint Valley has managed all season.

Paint Valley found their leader in underclassman Karris Dye, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. Dye set a new season high mark in steals with eight. Another player making a difference was Delainey Mannion, who scored 14 points along with three steals.

Paint Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Western, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.

Paint Valley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southeastern at 7:15 p.m. on December 12th. Southeastern will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Western, they will head out on the road to face off against Waverly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Waverly presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Western in Ohio (Waverly is ranked 327th, while Western is ranked 722nd).
