Volleyball Recap: Milton Wins Going Away Against Braintree

Milton entered their tilt with Braintree on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Wamps with a sharp 3-0 victory. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Milton was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11, 25-18.

Keira Clark paced Milton's offense, picking up ten kills. Clark got some help from Sophie Derwinski and her 22 assists. Derwinski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Milton's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Braintree, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Milton will be playing at home against Hingham at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Braintree, they will head out to take on Newton North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
