Soccer Recap: Evergreen Park Comes Up Short

If Evergreen Park was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Oak Lawn on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs lost 4-0 to the St. Laurence Vikings on Monday. While losing is never fun, Evergreen Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 277th, while St. Laurence are ranked 88th).

Evergreen Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-2. As for St. Laurence, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Evergreen Park will square off against Tinley Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Laurence, they will face off against Aurora Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
