Sierra Canyon is a perfect 8-0 against Bishop Alemany since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Trailblazers will welcome the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sierra Canyon has 13 straight victories, Bishop Alemany has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Sierra Canyon is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Harvard-Westlake, who was ranked tenth at the time (Sierra Canyon was ranked first). The Trailblazers put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Trailblazers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

While Sierra Canyon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Bishop Alemany lost 3-0 to Notre Dame Academy on Saturday.

Bishop Alemany's defeat dropped their record down to 9-22. As for Sierra Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 35-3.

Sierra Canyon took their win against Bishop Alemany in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Trailblazers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
