Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Petersburg). They walked away with a 59-47 win over the Kress Kangaroos on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Buffaloes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Petersburg can attribute much of their success to Lucas Rendon, who posted 26 points. Corbin McWilliams was another key player, putting up ten points.

Petersburg's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-8. As for Kress, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Petersburg will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lorenzo at 7:45 p.m. on January 10th. As for Kress, they will take on Lazbuddie at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Kress is facing Lazbuddie at the right time seeing as Lazbuddie is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
