It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Bladen can now relate to. They took a hard 57-38 fall against the Northwood Chargers on Thursday. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their 20-game winning streak.

West Bladen lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Chase Williams, who posted 16 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Hezekiah Adams, who put up ten points.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 27-2. As for Northwood, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 30-2.

West Bladen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwood, they will take on Reidsville at 5:35 p.m. on Saturday. Reidsville will roll in looking for their 30th straight win, something Northwood surely won't give up without a fight.
