Softball Recap: Caruthers Takes a Loss

Caruthers was the 15-2 winner over Woodlake when they last played one another back in April of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Raiders fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Avery Krafh was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Caruthers' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Woodlake, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Caruthers wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-5 win against Yosemite on the 20th. As for Woodlake, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Kerman on the 20th.
