Conant's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They skirted past the Schaumburg Saxons 4-3. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Saxons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Dani Gemmell looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ava Falcone, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Gomez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Conant hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Schaumburg struck out seven times.

Conant now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Schaumburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Conant wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-4 loss against Prospect on the 24th. As for Schaumburg, they will venture away from home to take on Hoffman Estates at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The Saxons are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
