Volleyball Recap: Aquinas Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Aquinas didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pomona Catholic Pacers on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

While Aquinas might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Pomona Catholic scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 20-25, 28-26.

Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Pomona Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Aquinas will be playing at home against Jurupa Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pomona Catholic, they will take on St. Monica at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Pacers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
