Baseball Recap: Rochester Zebras vs. Wabash Apaches

With a playoff game on the line, Rochester rose to the challenge on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Wabash Apaches out 7-6. Winning may never get old, but Rochester sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Tanner Reinartz made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Reinartz has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Reinartz was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jake Seuferer, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Brady Coleman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5.

On Wabash's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Tait, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
