Soccer Game Preview: Northridge vs. Roy

The Northridge Knights will head out to square off against the Roy Royals at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Roy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Northridge, who comes in off a win.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Northridge and Woods Cross, and Northridge kept the tradition alive. The Knights won by a goal and slipped past the Wildcats 2-1.

Roy had taken Viewmont down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Royals fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. Roy have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northridge now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Roy, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went Northridge's way against Roy in their previous matchup back in March, as Northridge made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
