Soccer Game Preview: Wolfson vs. Mandarin

The Wolfson Wolfpack are taking a road trip to square off against the Mandarin Mustangs at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Wolfson barely beat Stanton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolfpack were the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over the Blue Devils on Tuesday. With Wolfson ahead 4-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

They hit Stanton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Miller Pickett (2), Lucy Pearson (2), Quinnlyn Miller, and Paisley LeMaistre.

Meanwhile, Mandarin waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the Indians get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Considering Mandarin have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Wolfson now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Mandarin, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Wolfson couldn't quite get it done against Mandarin when the teams last played back in December of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Wolfpack avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
