Basketball Recap: Chilhowie Comes Up Short

After flying high against Honaker on Friday, Chilhowie came back down to earth. The Chilhowie Warriors took a blow against the Virginia High Bearcats on Saturday, falling 79-52. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Chilhowie's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Virginia High, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.

Chilhowie will face off against Northwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Virginia High has already played their next game (against Martinsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
