Ridgeview Global Studies Academy needed a changed in momentum after dropping 11 straight games and they got it from Caralyn Izzo. The Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers managed a 23-19 victory over the Oasis Christian Lions on Thursday thanks in part to Izzo, who posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Karsyn Roberts and Beka Ayers certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Roberts earned eight points, while Ayers had four points.

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14. As for Oasis Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-13.

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 22-16 victory against Santa Fe Catholic on the 4th. Oasis Christian has also already played their next game (against City of Life Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
