Palo Verde had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the South Spartans.

Palo Verde not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept South to exactly 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17.

Palo Verde's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for South, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16.
