Basketball Recap: Paramount Comes Up Short

Paramount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Norwalk Lancers, falling 52-32. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-47 back in January.

Jesus Sanchez was nothing short of spectacular for Norwalk: he dropped a double-double on 13 points and 17 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Sanchez a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Diego Morales, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

Paramount's defeat dropped their record down to 4-24. As for Norwalk, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-11.

As of now, neither Paramount nor Norwalk have any future games scheduled.
