Softball Recap: Beckman Triumphs

Beckman picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Chino Cowboys by a score of 8-4.

Beckman let Diya Malik and Jazmine Cruz run wild. Malik went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double, while Cruz went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most RBI Malik has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Kim, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Beckman's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Chino, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Looking ahead, Beckman will challenge Warren at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chino, they will square off against Los Altos at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
